There are many great tourniquets on the market. We’re big fans of any products that save lives. While we have some unique features that separate us from the pack, we believe that carrying one and understanding how to use it is the most important thing! (We strongly suggest that you only buy American, though.)

Carabiner GATE Lock

Our patent-pending carabiner gate system is designed to keep the windlass from accidentally unwinding during transport. It auto-locks and is more secure than a hook & loop strap. It also doubles as a mounting solution and can be attached to a key ring, backpack, belt loops or MOLLE.

Get a grip

If you’re using a TQ, there will be blood . . . a lot of blood. Our windlass is textured and channeled so you can keep a good grip while winding, despite slippery conditions.

Everyone should know how to apply a TQ; however, when shock sets in, it’s helpful to have simple instructions on the ETQ™ itself. Scan the QR code with a smartphone to access a step-by-step video tutorial.

STRONG & RELIABLE

The ETQ™ is overbuilt. In testing, we ran it over with a 6,500 pound dually and it still performed. Why is strength a big deal? If your windlass snaps under pressure, you’re in big trouble. Quality matters!

Visibility of applied tourniquets is key when first responders arrive on the scene. The chemlight automatically snaps upon application.
